SORORITY started as a late night k-hole for new short works by women, trans and queer performing artists working in Los Angeles. Founded, curated and hosted by Gina Young, SORORITY exploded almost overnight from a small salon into a huge and supportive community of artists with a cult following. Now producing salons, staged readings, concert readings and cabarets at venues including The Hammer Museum, Rockwell, The Lyric-Hyperion, Los Angeles Performance Practice's LAX Festival and Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, SORORITY is known as a boundary-pushing experience that defies categorization.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, SORORITY's four-year anniversary show at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre has been canceled. Please check out our YouTube Channel (link below) to enjoy past performances. We miss you!
