LESBIAN LOVE OCTAGON
by Kimberlea Kressal and Will Larche
directed by Gina Young
With queer women it's never just a love triangle, is it? This one's an octagon... set in the 90s... and it's a musical. SORORITY presents a concert reading of songs about Sue, a less-than-butch dyke with a broken heart, and her Lower East Side community of high femme princesses, rockabilly butches, trans guys and more. Packed with tons of New York and Los Angeles talent featuring special guests including Julie Lake from Orange is the New Black, LLO is a tempest of love, lust, betrayal, a little polyamory and a lot of online dating in the dial-up era.
Starring Anna Goodman, Angelica Rowell, Bri Sarikcioglu, Caitlin Lee Reid, Cloie Wyatt Taylor, Felicia Blum, Julie Lake, Julie Ouellette, Justine Woodford, Lindsay Zana, Liz Eldridge, Gretchen Wylder, Natalie Salins, Nicole Pacent, Nicole Stouffer, Samantha June, Shaan Dasani and Victoria Ortiz.
OCT 24 @ The Bootleg TICKETS
YOU CAN'T ACT A COLOR
written by and starring
Amber Hurst Martin
She's got one hand in her pocket, and the other hand writing a lengthy dissertation on diversity in casting. Classically-trained singer Amber Hurst Martin (Jesus Christ Superstar, Disney) returns to Rockwell with a new workshop of her solo cabaret touching significantly on her experiences as a woman of color in Hollywood. Woven among the true stories is a selection of classic and contemporary songs showcasing her versatility in pop, jazz, Broadway and soul, with a few 90s throwbacks to bring the house down.
With Nery Kim (piano), Randy Mallory (drums), Mónica Mendoza (guitar), CT Treibel and Gina Young.

GRAND CANYON PUSSY
(OR HOW TO BE QUEER IN UTAH)
by Anna Renée Winget
directed by Olivia Buntaine
A queer fantasia set in Southern Utah amidst 2008's Prop 8 election, GRAND CANYON PUSSY is an unapologetic exploration of the friction between queer identity and the Mormon Church. It excavates the consciousness of the TOUR GUIDE, a young, queer Mormon woman who is a church singer and Zion National Park Tour Guide by day, and a Drag King/Femme Queen at night. This show contains adult language and plenty of pills, goddesses, mountainous peaks, dildos, floral prints, sequins, and, well, pink.
Starring Sara Ann Buccolo, Lindsay Hicks, Victoria Ortiz, Devin McCarthy, Miss Barbie Q and Derya Derman. Assistant Director: Colleen Labella. Stage Manager: Kyra Morling. Dramaturg: Maija Gustin.
